Allahu Akhbar! Our jealousy rejects except that we are harsh and use harshness...

قال الشيخ العلاّمة محمد صالح بن عثيمين رحمه الله:

" الله أكبر! غيرتنا تأبى إلا أن نُعنِّف ونستعمل العنف، ونظن أن هذا هو الذي يحل المشكلة! ولكن الأعلم منا والأنصح محمداً رسول الله صلّى الله عليه وسلّم يقول ـ وهو صادق بار ـ: «إن الله يعطي على الرفق ما لا يعطي على العنف» . "

The Shaykh, The Scholar Muhammad Saleh bin Uthaymeen Rahimahu Allah said: Allahu Akhbar! Our jealousy rejects except that we are harsh and use harshness, and we think that this is what will solve the problem! But the one who knew more than us, and one who advised (more than us) Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhe wa sallam says - and he is truthful (and) pious: "Indeed Allah gives upon gentleness that which He does not give upon harshness."
